Montreal-Style Bagel with Figs, Brie, and Honey

Sometimes we need a delicious Bagel to brighten up the mood, especially if it’s a Montreal-style bagel. I do love how melt-in-your-mouth Montreal bagels are, especially when they are actually from a Montreal Bakery!

Figs + Brie = Absolute Deliciousness

Figs, with their natural sweetness and rich, earthy flavour, complement the sweet undertones of Montreal bagels beautifully. When paired with creamy brie cheese, jam, honey and flaked salt the combination of sweet and savoury is delicious!

What you will need:

  • Montreal Bagel – I like using an everything or onion bagel.
  • Ripe Figs – I have been finding nice figs from Costco recently! They are nicely red inside with a sweet flavour.
  • Red Pepper Jelly – You can use any jelly you like, but I do prefer a little spice!
  • Double Cream Brie
  • Honey
  • Flaked Salt
  • Arugula Microgreens
